Hola estudiantes!! I'm in the rainforest, but not at TRC (Tambopata Research Center). I'm at Refugio, which is another lodge about two hours from TRC. Today I spent the morning watching a baby (well, a few months old) harpy eagle eating some dead animal up in his nest. Then he went hopping around the tree. Harpy eagles are the biggest eagle. I'll try to put pictures up tomorrow night.
Two babies from PVC nest today. They are Green Wing Macaws. We measured them, weighted them, and took blood samples. Then we put them back up in the nest.
